If you get a set of the slow gears for an H is it just 1st that goes slower, or are all 4 gears slowed down? Can you put a 9-speed in one with the slow gears?

It would probably cost more to do this (if possible) than we have in the motor so I doubt we'd do it - just curious. A gear between normal 3rd and 4th sure would be nice though.

Thanks!

Ring & Pinion out of a 460 will slow down all gears.

Do you know about how much it slows the tractor down? I assume it is an easy switch - anything in particular needed special other than the ring and pinion gears? Interesting.

Far as I know a 460 main shaft and pinion gear can't be put in a H.

A creeper gear with a 9 speed would have to be awful close to a 3-4 split gear, because a 9 speed makes hi 1st just a bit faster than low 4th. A creeper might be low enough to cause a 2-3 split. I dont know...
