What class does an 806 pull in and how competitive are they? Got a chance to buy one reasonable but can't recall that I've ever seen one pull. Thanks.

I think an 806 would be a good stock puller.

A friend of mine pulled an 806, he pulled it in 10,000 ld 100hp, 13000ld 130hp, and 16000ld 160 hp classes. He did alot of pulling and won pretty regularly. He bought a 1206 and the 806 went back to farming. It was really something to see that old tractor loaded with wieghts and stomping on newer tractors with more horses.

I have an 806 that I pulled in the 8000 lbs stock class. Nonturbo class I did o.k. but didn't have good ground speed around here were I live its not really a stock class its just called a stock class. your best bet if your just using it for pulling don't get it unless it's very cheap look for a 966 0r 1066.or 4010 just my two cents jeremy

don know about 8000 lbs.you must have drained the tires and stripped it down.but anyway, duben, this is a good tractor(although im a massey fan).ive seen these things in 10,000,12,000,and 13500 lbs classes.they pull pretty good.one of my uncles had one.used it on other uncles farm but only pulled a few times.if you get the chance,by one.
good luck.

Yes I did what you said. I took off as much as possible. But still didn't do that good.As far as 10,000 lbs class I don't think 806 will work because you pull 966 and 1066 and even 4010 and 4020 at least you wood were I lived. again 806 would be good but you have to do some things to it trust me.my two cents again. you are right they are a good tractor but if you can find a 966,1066,4010 get that.
