do any of you fellow pullers have deadman throttles on your 2cyl deeres, our club may have that as a new rule for 2008, just wondering and looking for any input on this

Just another thought, JD's are not the only tractors with hand clutches so club could be as the other gentleman stated making more of a hazzord.

yes i have the same trouble with my DC maybe they will out law all hand clutch tractors and we can start a club for hand clutch tractors only lofao

Most clubs in this area require that driver has to have one hand on steering wheel at all times. Kind of hard to slip clutch in, throttle tractor and keep one hand on steering wheel all the same time. I think they would be creating a bigger hazard than helping avoid one. I think NATPA requires one hand on clutch at all times on two cylinder tractors verses the dead-man on the hot rod classes. Not real sure but they do make some kind of exception because of the hand clutch.
