Id say it could raise your compression ratio by 2 points easy. The valves are the same as the tractor heads, and can be swapped out. If your engine is 200 psi and over, right now,,, id say the cyl pressure would estimate to be 250 to 275 with this one,,, If LP will firethat high of cyl pressure, then you might get away with it,, but may have to run it on a very high octane fuel. Or, replace the cam with a bigger profile, and a big overlap to deflate the excessive cyl pressure and run the same fuel. That route, your taking advantage of the larger ports to help get the air in and out. Did they make an LP head like this for the tractors? Well, I have found part numbers off combines,,, and they arethe same casting as the tractor,, they did however change the piston,,, LP pistons, high alt LP pistons, were the choice,, and greatly increased cyl pressure. Just cant find a set of these new now days,, so the best option is a flat top piston of aftermarket choice. But no, I have not found any tractor heads or power unit LP engines that have had this configuration. Would it help a big ci engine? yes, if you keep the cyl pressure down to a resonable level, tune a cam and induction system to it and would pick up quite a bit. The head in the picture, has been gasket matched, nothing more, didnt need it to anymore,, JMHO,,, Chad
