I understand there is an international truck engine that without a whole lot of modification can be put in a 560 that will bring it up around 400cid. Does anyone know what engine it is and what has to be done to get it in there.

The 460 and 560 IHC engines are of the BD[Black Diamond] Engine Series. They are basically Truck Engines modified for Tractor use.I don't know if they share Bell Housing Flange Patterns with an RD[Red Diamond ] Engine Series or not but it should not be too hard to determine using the BD to RD Specifications if you can find them. The BD 308 was a common class 7 Truck Engine. I had one in an A 180 Single Axle Truck Tractor. The BD 308 was used for other applications also. IHC had an SD [Silver Diamond} Engine Series also but they were used in light Trucks.

An RD450 and 501 will work in a 560. We are also learning about this swap so I'm sure someone with a little more knowledge will chime in. I know you have to have a flywheel made!
