In the stock block, .060 over the 301 bore is good enough, 4 inch and its thin and will break, eventually. Truck heads are like the LP heads for the letter series farmalls,,, higher compression and bigger ports. same valves though,,, but you can do alot of work to put it all together and have a good, cheap engine that has some power. The truck head is a conversion,,, cause you cant use nothing from the tractor,, well maybe the push rods,,, the valve cover, rocker arm assembly, and the thermostat housing is different on the trucks,,,, the cover is narrower and the rockers are shorter, even the shaft and the supports are not the same. he stock truck rockers are the exact specs of the farmall M,,,,, so if nothing could be found, and custom set could be retorfitted with custom stands. Hope this helps, ChadS ChadS3@hotmail.com
