I need some info. on a oliver 88 I bought. How do you tell the difference from a 88 motor and a 1850 motor.

As far as the head I cant tell I have not got it apart but the casting #'s on the block are 190320 and then the other # on the block is K100C or G . Iam wanting to pull this tractor so any info. is good

K100C is a Fleetline 88 block.

1850 diesels had a Perkins engine. The 283 and 310 diesels (1800, 1750) had the 12 port head as opposed to the 9 port head like and 88, 880, or 1650.
