770 It all depends on what the rules will let you do. Why do you think you need a bigger carb? If it spits and sputters with the one you have you need to start at the tank and improve you fuel system. Is the carb running out of fuel? Is the load jet too small?Tell us your problem we can solve it for you.E-mail me if want. Earl

Earl, my engine runs about 2300 rpm. I have some head work and overbore dome pistons. the fuel system from tank to carb is all 1/2 in. with no restrictions. the tractor runs fine but I thought when everything else is flowing better, shouldn't the carb be a LITTLE bigger??? maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree. Thanks for help....770

770, Here in Illinois In ITPA you have to run the carb your tractor came with.If you have bore and stroke you have to feed it.I find myself with as much as 20 hrs machine work on some carb modification to get them big enough to feed the cubic inches. If your rules will let you try a bigger carb. Manifolds are some times severly restricted.Have you matched port?IF you can't cut you manifold and weld back you might send it off and have abrasive mud pumped through. We have had good results with that.I suggest you dyno test between each modification because bigger isn't always better.Earl
