You have to keep the hubs TIGHT!!!after you move them, put a wrench on them after each hook

Just wondering what size tires and weight classes you run. I've pulled my 44 for 30 years have have not (knock on wood) broken a hub and nobody else I know have either. 4500-5000-5500# with 15.5 or 14.9x 38"

I am pulling in the 5500 and 6500 stock classes. Your hubs must be rusted on real tight or you are extremely lucky. The tires are 15.5 Firestone Field and road. Thank you

Find a set of M & W hubs. Better made and lighter.
I've broken two Massey hubs pulling myself.

Have you tried weld on hubs? I have heard that Massey hubs have a problem with breaking.

Will welding on hubs weaken the axle?

The only one I've seen break was one that was stick welded on. I've wire welded on all of mine and my friends they haven't broken yet.
