Not to be a smart one but what do you have in mind? Reason I asked one time when I worked for the aftermaket we had 13 different 855 pistons.Do you know what Cummins CPL these pistons should be from?

no i dont. was told they would work in a moline tractor with a 5 1/2 bore. was told the top would have to be cut off alittle to get compression around 10-1

have tried this stunt before. not worth the time and effort. have to make wrist pin bushings and then find the compression height and mill off the top. after that the have to weld up whats left of the combustion bowl and re machine. alot of time envolved and if you cant do the machine work it could get expensive too. by the time you get all that done you could have had a custom piston made but if you still want to do this a natual piston will work better. Schwiebert is right.alot of different controlled parts listings
