i probably didnt speel govner right but i want to put a new governer spring on my h ( second try at spelling that) but i was told that the fly wheel will explode if the rpms go higher then stock so my question is is the a good place to have a flywheel made or am i jsut out of luck

Pat, bottom line,,, if your H has been apart recently and the flywhel has fresh boltt orques in the last 2 years or more recent,,, Id say you have a lessened chance of the flywheel comming apart than a H that has been together for 10 or more years... So if its been done, then Id say your ok to go up to 20% over rpm,,,, no more,,, no reason to go over that,,,
We turn the Hs hard when we have to,,, up to 2500,, we dont do it often, but we can do it if needed,,, we dont hold it there either,, for long periods of time that is,,,,, Hope this helps,, ChadS Chads3@hotmail.com

my h turn over 2500 rpms with a stock flywheel dont worrie about it.if your trying to get more power out of your h i have a m@w gov. if your interestied 100.00 you can have it leet me know
