I have a small step through loader on an 8N Ford but don't know the brand. Question is, does anyone know where I can get new leathers for the cyl's? The loader works fine but does leak fluid past the leathers and is forced out the top end when the loader is fully extended. Thanks for any help. Harv

My first loader was a Caswell, the second was a Paulson. I think the Paulson used a leather seal (still have a kit for one). Check with a local hydraulic shop for kits- shop that rebuilds cylinders for farm or industrial equipment.

I have gotten hard to find leathers from a place in Sioux Falls, S.D. that does hydraulic jack repair. Sorry I don't remember the name of the place. It was in the western part of the city.

You might try using the internet Yellow Pages for Souix Falls, SD. under Hydraulic Jack Repair or similar heading. The reference desk at the SF library may be able to help using the local phone book.
