Ihave a Massey 30 that has extemely high oil pressure. The manuel says to remove the oil pressure bypass with a piece of wood. My problem is that the valve or plunger is either wedged or seized in position and will not move tried srew-drivers / taps / and wedging a hose inside. ANY IDEAS HOW TO REMOVE THIS VALVE WITHOUT TEARING DOWN THE ENGINE?

Can't help you with your problem but I could make one suggestion. Post your question on the tractor talk discussion forum, not that there are not lots of guys here that could help but I think the traffic over there catches almost everyone who comes into the YT site. Second, restate your title to gather some attention like maybe "Problem Getting Oil Bypass Assembly Out Of Engine Block" rather than the Massey Harris 30 title. Maybe mention in your comments that it is a 4-cylinder flathead Continental engine from a MH30. I'm guessing you'll get more responses. Good luck with the problem.
