My son lives near Saratoga NY. He is looking for used manure
spreader chains. Any body in central NY know of scrape dealer
or farmer who might have them?
Thanks Chas.

Find someone who works on combines and get an old feederhouse chain it will be a little heavier.

my son uses these used conveyor chains to make
a conditioner for riding
arenas and trails. He welds
1 inch bolts on the cross
bars. These work very well.

One of the few things in my life that I'm not looking for is used manure spreader chain. I've shovelled out enough loads in the field that I'm not looking for more shovelling opportunities.

What are they needed for. I can think of many setting in hedgerows around here 60 miles to the south west of Saratoga.

It will be interesting to see how this search works out. I would think finding a good manure spreader chain will be much like trying to find some good used 13.6 or 15.5/38 tires, they are out there, just not cheaper than new. Good luck and I hope you find one.
