Just given to me by my brother-in-law who says he's tired of trying to repair it. Has an electrical problem. I don't know didley about it. He says when he hits the starter button the entire electrical system gets red hot. I haven't found a direct short anywhere yet.

Looking for any advice or manuals before I dig into it any further.

Thanks in advance

49 Cubber,
That's what our intentions are...to sell. Bro-in-law and I discussed it, he just wanted to get it running again and sell her. I know he's had it at least 10 years and it's always run very well. Just recently has he started having problems with it. It has a belly mower on it. What could a fellow expect to get for one? It's definetly not in tip-top shape but as far as I know everything "was" working except the headlights. Needs a good overall cleaning. I'd feel better if I at least had it running before sending her on her way. Besides I like the challenge and learning...as if I don't already have enough to do.

If interested I'll get some photos of it and we can talk more. BTW We're in Lake Charles,LA

Start by checking all connections to be sure they are clean and tight. Also make sure all cables are of adequate size (capacity). I suggest you get a manual from Binder Books and follow the wiring diagrams to assure everything is connected correctly.

I just found the Binder Books site and placed an order. I knew somebody, somewhere would set me in the right direction.

Thanks Bigdog!
