Last week I posted that one of my sons made it home from the war on terrorism. Sunday morning my younger son arrived. Now both are home (almost). Just a side note, both sons went over together and should have come home together but not enough planes to bring all the group home. Thursday second group of planes arrived but still not enough so 20 got left there, but Friday another plane came and picked up the other 20 which included my youngest. Got to get them back in college now. Next Saturday the first one is getting married. We have been burning up the roads the last few weeks (been out of state the last 4 weekends and going again this week), but it has been great. I thank the Lord and appreciate all the prayers. In between I have been checking in here. Love this site because of all the good people here.

I salute your sons..... I am also currently serving in the United States Air Force. I have seen Desert Storm and now Iraq. My appreciation goes out to all Americans who have and continue to support what we do. I take great pride in serving my country and protecting my famalies freedoms, and those of all Americans. This country is Gods country, and I will continue to serve him and it. Thank your sons and all Americans for thier sacrifices.

May God bless 'em both, Garry. Feller at work was showing me some pics his son took in Afghanistan. Not the typical stuff you see in the papers, one soldier was crouching down petting a stray kitty, another doing "gimme five" with an Afghan kid, and a few shots of soldiers holding Afghan infants. Very touching, and the sort of thing that should be reported more. They're doing a lot of good over there, rebuilding a country after it's been despoiled by tyrants is tough work. May the good Lord bless them all.

Thanks to you all for the effort. I wish all our sons could be home for good but the world today means we will always have some sons away. Any trouble or problems at all- PLEASE have them report to DOD or VA medical facility right away. Efforts are being redoubled there to help with any transition coming home. Bless all our servicemen.
