I had a bush hog that the decking rusted out on, I just removed and welded a new one on.if yours is cracked it can probley just be welded up BUT what caused the crack!!! if it is some sort of stress it will just crack next to the weld. you MUST repair the stress first.

I HAVE 3 ACRES THAT I MOW AND IT IS NOT AS SMOOTH AS I WOULD LIKE(IE. ANT HILLS, AND JUST NOT VERY SMOOTH). I BELIEVE THE STRESS FROM THES BUMPS AND THE PROCESS OF LEARNING HOW TO OPERATE THE MOWER HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE CRACKS. I WAS THINKING OF TRYING TO WELD IN MORE SUPPORT WHEN THE REPAIRS ARE MADE TO THE FINISHING MOWER. I'M SURE THAT IF A COULD MAKE THE YARD A LITTLE SMOOTHER THAT WOULD ALSO HELP. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR TRICKS ON THE BEST CHEAPEST WAY TO MAKE THE YARD SMOOTH. THANKS
