How fast should a lift lift?

I have a MF 135 that has a strong lift but it seems slow to me. How much time should it take to go from bottom to top without any weight on it (if that matters)?

If i remember corecttly there is a response lever on the lower right side of rear end housing. This might be in the slow mode.

John, I've tried the adjustment you mentioned and it doesn't seem to effect the speed (but I agree that it should).
