I went to hitch my 1086 to the plow,and the three point won't go down.Ihave never had a problem with it before. It will settle overnight.Then when you go start it in the morning it dont matter what position the lever is in, it goes right up. Can anyone help. Thanks

Remove the foot ball cover. This is the cover the top link is connected and you should see a lever from the top of the cylinder comming to a lever off the rockshaft. The one from the top should be to the back of the lever from the bottom. Sometimes the one on the top will jump past the other one and the tractor thinks it is in full draft and the hitch will go all the way up and stay. If this has happend you will see a a adjusting screw assy. that is held on with a pin. remove the pin and pull you draft lever all the way back and install the pin again. Watch it the hitch will then drop. The same thing can happen with the 66 series. Hope this helps.

Our 1086 does the same thing. Usually fiddling with the draft control cures the problem.
