Thought some of you old timers might have some cold weather running tips.

Mine makes some real funny noises and hydraulics are real slow in this weather.

Anything besides coolant to worry about?

Nearly 40 below here tonight (that's Celsius or Farenheit) so I don't think I'll be out running, maybe walk a bit inside but definitely no running outside.

Gas or diesel?

What do you call 'cold'? I went to an outdoor auction sale today, was -17F overninght, my thermometer got up to -0 this afternoon. Was a bigger crowd than normal - too cold to work at home, so everyone came out & stood outside for 3 hours.

The worse the weather the more successful a farm auction.

yep, I've noticed that too. An estate auction, people usually don't come is the weather is bad, but a farm auction, it doesn't matter what the weather is, farmers will come just the same and stand out in it. I've gone to auctions thinking I was going to get some deals because it was pouring out, only to find that I didn't get there early enough to get a good parking spot.

Yup, there were schools openning late this morning for the cold & blowing snow, & I felt all but 2 items brought more than average dollar. Big crowd.
