seen a ad in the farm paper about a 7341 Zetor tractor 4WD and loader, also has cab. Are they capable of doing a days work every day or are they a bag of trouble? We don't need to buy junk, got enough problems anyhow. How many HP is this one? Is the engine and tranny dependable or is that a new can of worms? What brand of engine do they use? Any input apprecited.Oh yes the price is listed at 21995.

My $.02

I just bought one after looking 1.5 years. My survey found dealer repair/replacement was 2nd day. JD might be same or 1 day. (I bought 4341.1 SR new). Neighbor switched to Zetor & saved 1000 gal fuel consumption 1st year. On board pneumatic for front axle & rear locker engagement, along with air hose for tires etc. The thing that really did it for me is sharp turning radius, #3000 loader lift #6800 3 pt lift on a 10K lb tractor/cab/heat/AC/companion seat for nieces & the biggie - stability on sidehills. Fit & finish seemed far above chinese & on par with the big brands just not as plush. Depreciation might be a concern if you trade tractors regularly but we don't. Electric clutches, hydraulic reversers, self priming injector pumps are nice if you need 'em. My case I avoided spending enough to put 2-3 of those nieces through college in a few years.

I have a 3320 Zetor I purchased new in about 1994. I really like it although I only have about 200 hours on it. It has been trouble free. I don't need a tractor a whole lot but do need one occasionly. I was tired of working on old iron every time I wanted to do a 20 minute job. The price was about half of a JD. The resale value is not good but I did not buy it to resell. I bought it to jump on and get whatever job I was doing done. They are built like tractors were about 30 years ago. No computer and electronic stuff to screw up which always costs a bunch to get fixed as soon as the warranty goes out.

don't own one but had all good reports from those i know who have them. One guy is terrible on equipment and it has held up well. If i was in the market for ne wtractor it would be a zetor.

Zetor engines have been used in several brands of construction equipment such a cranes and other items based on the ads I have seen for such. Zetor makes their own engines as far as I know. Never have heard a Zetor OWNER badmouthing the tractors. Saw one once that had air compressor built in, pump up your own tires.

The air compressor was standart in Zetor tractors here in spain. There are a few Zetors here in my town, all are in order to use but the engine and transmissions are very dirty due to oil leaks. Don't know about newer models.

Deere sold here some tractors based on Zetors tractors, called the 2000 serie, in the mid 90's
