Question about potential tractor sale

I've got my tractor listed in the classifieds on this site and about a day after I placed the ad, I get an email from a guy in the Netherlands who wants to send me a check for the cost of the tractor plus some extra to give to his "pick up agent" to export it. This sounds like a pretty shady deal to me, I mean the guy doesn't even want to come look at my tractor! Has anyone else here had a similar experience???

Only everybody who posts an ad. It'll be a fake international check that is done pretty good - takes longer to track down than your bank realizes, you'll lose money & no one will ever bother to look at your tractor.

Go the the top of this page, and in the search box, enter "scam". Check out the results of your search.

I think that same guy from the Netherlands responds to all of the ads. Just delete it and go on.

It's a scam. Seems to happen a lot. I'd tell them to come take a look at the tractor and to bring cash.
