Is there a way to create a live PTO on my 48 Freguson tractor?

Your right, it was just a thought. I keep the old girl more for a toy than an anything, But she is fun to play with.....

It runns good, and the grand kids love papa toy!

There certainly IS! All you have to do is trade for a MF 135! Retro adding something like live pto or live hydraulics to a tractor that didn't have it is not very cost effective and it will be far cheaper to just buy another tractor that HAS the features you want!

Depends how much money you have..... Anything is possible, but it quickly becomes way too spendy, as you need to redesign the tranny/clutch area somehow.

Ric. Drive the hyd. pump from the front of the crank. Any good hyd. shop should have kits. MD

Ric,
do you mean a hydraulic PTO system ? With a front crank driven pump and a hydraulic motor with PTO output shaft on the rear ? This would be the simplest method to use, but not cheap.
