I'm hoping to get some help here! A friend of mine, older woman in her 80s has a beautifully maintained 1929 Worthington Tracor w/ Ford Model A engine. It is all original except for toolbox seat and tires. We are trying to find out what the value might be?
I've found only that these are scarce and few people know anything about em at all!! Any help?
Thanks,
Bill

Does your friend still have her Worthington? If so could you forward photos? I have a 1932 Worthington in excellent condition and a later model that is being restored.

I don't know anything about the Worthington. It looks like a production type tractor, but there were many "poor man" tractors built using the Ford Model A engine. They were called doodle bugs. You may find more information at this site (http://www.ahooga.com/index.shtml)
and in their archives, which is devoted to the Ford Model A.

They appear to be a golf course maintenance tractor. Several are shown in the "Tractor Photo" section on the left side of this YTMAG page.
