175 High-Arch did not exist. The 63 HP engine from the 175 was used in the 180, a High-Arch of
same vintage. Perhaps someone has pulled together two MF's, for one running tractor. Hood
parts might be the 175, you can run the S/N, see
how the numbers match to both 175 & 180.

Yes. There is such a thing as a 175 Hi-Arch. It would have 38" tires and running boards on each side of the transmission case. A 180 would have a flat platform over the transmission case.

Bob, would you reference me some info on the High-Arch 175? All the info I have been able to find in the past is that the 175 was not a high crop machine. Or is it that only the rear tire size would make it a high-arch? The 175 parts manuals I have don't reference anyting other than a Standard or Orchard models.
What with all the modifications and Rube-Goldberg setups around it's getting hard to tell what is what anymore.

I just dug out a pamphlet on 165,175 & 180 tractors. I don't see a date on it, but it must be from the later years as it lists the Perkins gas engines and 8 speed transmissions. It looks like Massey changed their nomenclature from "Hi-Arch" to "Rowcrop". On the specifications page, it shows 165 Lo-Profile, Standard & Rowcrop, 175 Lo-Profile, Standard & Rowcrop, and 180 Rowcrop only. As a general rule, the differences between a Standard and Hi Arch would be larger back tires, longer front spindles and a change in gearing somewhere to compensate for the tire size.
