Every Farmall Cub I have seen, including mine, has
two holes approx. 1/2" in diameter in the right side of the hood just above the logo. Can anyone tell me what these were intended for? I know they must have some purpose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The owner's manual shows the holes being used for lubing the generator bearings. The manual has lots of good information about using and maintaining the Cub. Get a manual.

Those holes are to oil the bushings in the original generater. Like me , you prolly have an alternater in there, and the holes don't line up with anything !! I found this out from a WOMAN while waiting in a Parade line @ the Vista, Ca. show.
