If you want to throw all the "N"-series Fords in the same pile, instead of separating them out as the 2N, 8N and 9N, then they were the biggest seller. Biggest-selling single model, probably the Farmall "H", with the "M" also being a big seller. Most horsepower sold as one model - the JD 4020, as they were 90-hp tractors and over 150,000 of them were built. The Deere "A" and "B" are also right up there, with a few hundred thousand of each being built. Longest production run - the JD "D", which was built from 1923 to 1953.

I'll go along with the pile of fords and the farmalls but ac made 146,000 of the wd's and then you can add in the 90, 000 wd 45s (if you consider the 8n the same as the 9n).

Deere built nearly 200,000 each of the "A" and "B", and even 64,000 "G"s, which was the poorest-selling row-crop for them during letter-series production. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 150,000 "D"s as well. I did the approximate math once for all the two-bangers, and came up with around 1.2 million total tractors from the Waterloo Boy through the 830/840. And that wasn't counting the 730s that were built in Argentina into the early 70s.

All time- Fordson, Later, the N series, during the "horsepower boom" of the 60's, the 4020 Deere. The Deere model B ranks high, as well as the H Farmall. Small utility tractors of later years, the 135 Massey Ferguson.John

Ford sold nearly 1 million N series tractors between 1939 and 1952.

There were over 390,000 Farmall H's made which I would think would rank it fairly high up in the list.

If you are talking biggest price, it had to be green :)
If you are not talking price, I have no idea. Maybe the n series of Ford, they are everywhere.
