I have come into possesion of several boxes of NOS Champion plugs, 6 com, 6M, 44, and D89D. The 6 Coms are labeled for IHC. I would guess them to be a little cold for the letter series Farmalls? I don't know anything about the 6M plugs, they are 18 mm. The 44 plugs look like they would be real hot, maybe for a kerosene tractor? Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks, Howard

Going from memory here....but I if I recall correctly 6 COM is the old equivalent is to the current D-17 or so. And the 44 and D89D I believe are special for IHC gas-start diesel engines. The 6M however doesn't ring a bell for me right now.

On my PC at work I think I've got a URL for an old spark plug cross reference chart. I'll post tomorrow if I can find it.

can't get the link to work but I did find another chart. But no reference to the 6M plugs. They are just a mystery. They are a rather cold 18mm plug

6M is cross-ref to D-14 industrial plug on a couple of searches. Doesn't show up at all on any chart I can find.

dave, I've only got one set of D89D and I'll save them for you. I have boxes full of W89D for the old WD-40 diesel
