An enclosed car trailer, or a stock trailer if the tractor or implement is small enough to fit.

A few guys around here have been using an air dam from the top of a semi-tractor on the front of their trailer. Works good, pulls hard.

Take the muffler and air cleaner off. Tape a piece of cloth or something to the front.

And make sure you have something to clean up any glue that might stick, prep sol or whatever disolves the glue, but masking tape shouldn't leave a residue if it's only on for a few hours and not baking in the sun. Or get someone to make a custom cover that you can bungee cord on.

try backing your tractor on the trailer,it might change the load over the axles so that might not be the answer , just a thought..... .mike

A tarp comes to mind, but I don't think that's a good idea because the wind whipping the tarp could be very abrasive on your show quality paint.

How about a V-shaped solid shield on the front of the trailer to deflect all wind, bugs, and small stones? It could be made of plywood or sheetmetal. I'm not sure how to permanently and securely attach it to the trailer. You might also need holes in the bottom to run your tie-downs through.

i bought a roll of shipping styrofoam. very soft. cut it to length. cover the fenders and hood and all the tractor. then a soft blanket or 2 over that. then a car cover. strapped very tight to the tractor with about 5 different straps. when i am done the covers do not move. the foam is like a barrier and wont rub the paint off. i only use it when i carry my orchard tractor, because of all the fenders. havent had any stone chips or bugs ruin the paint. it is a pain to do, but it really works well. pg
