How can I tell if I have a 601 workmaster

I just bought a Ford tractor thats suposed-to-be a 601 Workmaster. I have looked at photos and went to a Ford Tractor Dealer and asked but im still at a lose. Can anyone help me to find out for sure and find the year its built.

Thanks to you who have helped. I found out that it is a 54 model NAA. Does anyone know what the paint scheme should be and is it considered a Golden Jubilee.

both the 53 and 54 are NAA but Only the 53 is a golden jubilee.
You did not look at all of the site I gave you because if you look at quick ID it will show you a painted picture of your tractor. If you look at paint it will tell you what color each piece of the tractor is. Go back to the link below and dig around some more.

Follow the link that John provided. Read all the pages, especially the serial number page. If it is a 601 Workmaster and if it still has it's original paint colors, it should look like this. The vertical exhaust is optional, yours could have a horizontal exhaust pipe running under the left running board.

The tractor in the picture belongs to a D. Hayes of Alabama. I found the pic in the Photo Gallery of this site (see the column of links to the left).
