MH 44 - Oil in Exhaust

My MH 44 blows blue and leaks oil past the spark plugs and at the base of the exhaust manifold. After 4 to 6 hours the plugs foul to the point where the engine barely runs.
Compression ranges from 100 to 110 psi and breather tube on valve cover is clear, and the oil passages leading from the top of head back to crankcase are open.
The oil is either coming past the valve guides or stuck oil piston rings.
Is there any way to tell which one is the problem and what would be a possible solution for either?
I would rather not do an engine teardown.

Thanks

Will be coming past inlet valve gides if it is that which is causing plug fouling. Are you sure the engine breather is clear? If you have any crankcase pressure oil will be pushed past the pistons or through the valve guides. The guides will also be subject to reduced inlet pressure, so may need replacing - or do they have seals on the valve stems?
May also be glazed bores and some good hard work may be a remedy or not.
Are you using a detergent oil? If not the build-up on the piston rings may be causing the problem.
May be that the engine is just getting worn and in need of a rebuild.
Start with the air cleaner, then remove manifolds and check for build-up on valve stems, then delve further.
Rather remove the head and check it all out now than wait until something fails.
Btw, are you using the correct heat grade plugs. One grade hotter might reduce the plug fouling.
And is the engine running on the correct mixture? - too rich and it will not help matters.

Might sound stupid but have you checked to see if the oil in the air cleaner is still where it should be?Water in the air cleaner cup can cause this.Tractor been setting outside?
