HI, I was at a festival today, and I saw the neatest little fully operational miniature hay baler. I think it was a 1/6 size of a mcCormick baler. (I'm not sure if that is right or not) I need to know two things about it before I need to know my final question. Where could I get a machined kit, or a fully built one? About how much would anyone say it'd cost, rounded up if you're not sure. And last, would it be safe to power it from a Farmall A? They had it hooked to a small hit 'n miss engine, so, I'm not sure if it'd exactly be safe.

Thanks for any help!

I would expect that you would have to pay MORE than a full sized one that is factory made. Making small quantities of an item are not as per item efficient as turning out larger quantities.

I'm not sure whether you just want a smaller baler that you can power with our machine, or whether you may wish for a smaller bale.

If the later, i.e. just a smaller bale, perhaps you may wish to consider importing one of those small balers from Italy or elsewhere.

Made in Italy is a small baler that can even be powered by a BCS two-wheeled tractor.

I meant for this to be a tiny baler to take to shows. 1/6 size stationary if possible. One that would be run by a belt drive, not one for picking up windrows of hay in a field.

A 1/16 size would make a bale about 1in square and 2in long you must mean 1/2 scale or thereabouts or even 1/3 as the original bales were around 16in square and 36long.

Sorry, I meant a 1/6, not a 1/16

A FARMALL A will power a full sized one so it sure can run a model. Only way to have one of those is to make one. What would you pay for a "kit"?

Um, I don't really know what a fair price would be, but It must be fully machined, and all parts pre fabricated, I don't have those capabilties, and everything to build it has to be included, unless it is something that can be found by someone that doesn't no a nut from a bolt (me)

I think you should name a price, I have no reference,

Thank you!!!
