Hello my fellow tractor friends...just wanted to update you on Dillon. Went to see him today, he is awake quite a bit, he is jolly, playing as good as he can. He trys to take his feeding tube from his nose...dont like that at all. Goes in tomorrow for his LAST skin graph on his leg. Will be getting out of ICU this week, into his own room.He is talking some, and knows us all. Thanks again for all your prayers and a special thank you to those who sent cards....they mean so much. Will keep you posted as we go on this long journey. Again Thanks, Charlie

Charlie,
Thanks for the update on Dillon. It's good to hear. I know Dillon still has a long uphill road to travel, but I still think it's a pure miracle that you "Charlie" got the entire nation to pray for this little guy. And the prayers will keep coming.
Loren

Charlie;
Thanks for keeping us updated on Dillon.
He seems to be doing well by your post.

If I may I would like to ask a few questions.

It seems to me he had brain surgery for blood clots. I would assume that has gone very well since he knows every one. (No brain damage ??)
He had a broken hip and a messed up foot.
I remember you saying they had to take his
foot; but how is the hip healing. Will
he be able to walk ?? Or is it to early
to tell ?? I have not sent a card but now that he is
awake more I would like to send him a small toy or something. I feel cards are great but I think a 8 year old would rather
a toy or a game. So tell me what is this 8 year old into. Toy tractors????? Computer
games??? Sorry it has been a few years since I have had a 8 year old around.

Also please tell his parents we are still praying for Dillon and wish him the best.
John

John, he did not have to have brain surgery, they gave him medication to dissolve the clots, and that went well. Brain damage? we are not sure on how much yet, maybe minimal. They took his right leg off just below the knee, his other leg is getting lots of skin graphs, the last one today. Able to walk? itistoo soon to tell yet. They are letting the pelvic bone heal on its own..8 year old ...yes he loves tractors, die cast cars...etc...he will love whatever you send. And his mom and dad are very appreciative of everything. Will keep you guys posted. Charlie
