I just picked this up and have two questions. 1) What model might it be so I can find a manual on it and, 2) Is the way the pto yokes lined up the right way or should the yokes be 90 degrees out from one another? Thanks guys.

I have purchased a MF mower that looks exactly like yours with the serial number 238017119. I am trying to find out the model number also, did you find out for sure if it was a model #41? Thanks

Your belt is on the wrong sides of your two idler pulleys. They are in place to put outward pressure on the belt and keep them from flopping.

Thanks guys, I mowed a little with it tonight and it worked pretty well but, I think it needs some of the blades replaced. Where is the best place to find a manual for this mower? Would AgCo have these or will I be stuck trying to find a used one. Thanks again.

Model #41 Dynabalance. Made for Massey Ferguson, by Vermeer. Great mower. There were a couple "updates" during the production run. Have serial # ready when you order parts. John

Where might the SN be located? I have found no numbers on it anywhere yet.

You had to go and ask a question where I had to think..... ... It's been a few years since I owned my MF 41. I seem to recall the serial # plate being on the "hitch frame. Not sure anymore. (Small black w/ silver text, approx. 1-1/4" X 3", 2 rivits holding it) John

Mine was a model 25 but we used the model 35 parts book as there were very dfew 25's made It was also called the wishbone mower because it hd a V shaped part which fastened to the stabalizer bar brackets. I used it on a Ford 850 and once on a MF 35

I am not sure of the model # dut it is one of the "DYNA-BALANCED" Mowers. The power shaft is right. I had an older model "DYNA-BALANCED" and it was a super good cutter. I could mow at about 6 miles per hour. Only disadvantage is the guards and other parts do not enterchange with any other manufacturer.Since then I have had an IHC balanced head and a New Holland and the massey performed better but it being an older model was hard to put on.
