I saw a sermon today that hits hard at us as Americans. Are we as Godfearing people going to allow Godless men in Government to dictate to us. When we can elect the Government. Please pray hard before Nov. 2nd that the right godfearing people will be elected to Congress and the presidency, and Vote. I love this country very much and cannot believe what I have seen in the last 10-15 years in this country, It makes me sick.

Great trees and nations are not felled by external forces. Rather they fall down on thier own from internal rot. Careful what you pray for. America will have to get kicked hard and pushed face first in the gutter before smartening up and repenting.

Maybe your right, but I would like my son to grow up in a society of decent human beings that still denounce *ay marriage and respect the basic laws of God. I have often thought that the only way to have people turn to God is a long recession where people have to live with their families like the Waltons TV show, remember that. And The school day ends early so that the kids have to go home and stack and chop firewood if they want to stay warm in the winter because their family cant afford the heat bill, instead of staying after school to play sports. There is nothing like praising God in the cold weather while you are outside splitting logs, am I nuts or what.

Interestingly enough, my pastor touched on this subject this morning. As a nation we are slipping into a moral decay that will ultimately destroy our country. Certaily voting is important, but as you said, we need to earnestly pray for guidance in our voting AND pray for our leaders in office.

And please don't dismiss "encumbants". By doing so, it would leave only one choice for the highest position in our country. A frightening proposition to say the least!

Dug, I agree on moral decay. Something has really changed here recently.... I cannot even stop at a station anymore without seeing beggars, drunks, prostitutes, etc. This has only happened in the last few months. I told owner of one station that I would not return, everytime I stop there I am harrassed or propositioned... This country has become so politically-correct that our rights are being trampled to protect the rights of scum !!!!

If you don"t like what is happening in the USA,Your State, Your County, City, or Your Township, PLEASE don"t vote for an incumbent! They had their chance! It gets me, when they tell me what they will do in the next four years, they had their chance! Please, let"s get rid of them. Politicians and Lawyers are screwing this country up! Thanks for letting me vent

Amen!!

Too many people nowadays say "if they/it does not bother/effect me I do not care what they/it is". Such a sad state of affairs. All god fearing people should prey for this country so that the right people are elected and lead this nation based upon strong christian principles and values.

I have heard many a sermon similar to what you heard this morning and it always moves me.

God bless the USA!

Phil
