Hi all, I was wondering if any body out there knows of an after market soft cab manufacturer? Or maybe someone has made thier own and can tell me what materials you used and how it turned out. I've got a Ford 5900 and a New Holland 3930 that I would like to do this on. Any help appreciated. Thanks all!

To make one for winter protection only, you could make a frame out of the black ABS pipe. It's light, cheap and easy to work with and has rounded corner joints. Just cut and paste together. Attach some pipe sockets on the tractor to drop the cab into. You could bolt on some plexi glass for windows and use plywood to fill in the rest of the cab or go to a company that makes boat tops and covers and have them make a cover that fits over the pipe frame.
Keep us posted on what you do and how it works.
Al

Try Femco. Just bought one for my oliver 1855 this year. They also made the one's Massey sold when we bought one 20 years ago for our 285. Very good quality, and custom fit. I wouldn't go without a custom fit weather break, as otherwise it isn't quite right for one or the other, even if it's supposed to fit.

Ron, try these people. they make the original Heat-Houser. They show a listing for both of your tractors. Jim.

Check Northern Supply as they have a pretty good looking one in the book. You can find it at their on line location..... ..
