Sun shining here and probably 48 degrees(TN).Was looking at the classifieds and MI,NE,ME,SD,and Canada really look COLD and snowy in some pics.I guess a person gets used to it but I miss working in my garden and the sound of my son riding the lawn mower cutting grass.

We had 48 degrees here today too, near Spokane WA. It was supposed to have tied a record high. Almost all the snow in my yard has melted.

What a difference a week makes--we had below zero mornings a couple of days last week and over a foot of snow.

48 degrees? Where's my shorts at? Actually, we've had it pretty easy so far. A couple few weeks in the teens or singles, a night or two in the negs. I work outside quite a bit, finally had to break out the carhartts. Figure I was as climatized as care to be. But is easier to trim or take down trees, put up and mend fences and stuff when the green aint trying to grow. Wouldn't mind a cool 48 about now though.

Warm the last couple days here in southern Minnesota. Got up to 36 a couple nights ago, way above average, been around 15-25 the last 2 days. been getting a lot of work done that I put off the week before, when 2 was the high for most of the week.

The cold isn't too bad if it is just for a day or maybe 2. But if it drags on for 3-5 days with 10 below or colder, a person really falls behind.

Prediciting 5-8 inches of snow tomorrow, with 30 mph winds, so need to get prepared...

Yea, Its cold here in Wis also, 2 days ago was 25 below, today 25 above. But I figure, if you didn't experience crumby weather, you wouldn't know good weather was when it came. Also, snow means good money when plowing. My son made $2500 in 7 hrs with 2 trucks, 2 inches of snow. I should change jobs. Craig

When I was a kid me and a friend would grab the snow shovels and head to the court square and the local convience stores and pick up several bucks after a good snow.I noticed when we had a snow right before Christmas that most of these places had snow piled up with no attempt to shovel it.Most some done was put down some salt but it was cold enough just to make the snow mad at the salt so it stuck around for a while.

I don't do well in heat with humidity, & that is what we get in MN. I'd rather be 10 than 100, tho give me 60 and I'm _happy_ about it! :)

The saying is you can always put more clothes on to stay warm, but you can only take so much off when it gets hot..... ;)
