My mistake!!!!! Now I understand your question.

No.... The serial # for the 600/800 started at 1 and went up with every tractor they built. So that means your tractor was the 32838 one built.

The other # (model #) tells you what kind of tractor you have and every # has a meaning.
From your # 860 I can tell 8- you have a 172 cu in gas motor rated at 48HP.
6- you have a 5 speed trans with a two stage clutch and live PTO.
0- It was built between late 1954 and early 1957.

I thought I answered this question for you before but maybe it was not clear enough.

Do not pay any attention to stickers on the hood. You need to go by the model and serial #.

Ford Model 860
8-Four-wheel adjustable axle w/172 cu. in. engine
6-Five-speed transmission w/live PTO
0-Series designation, 1955 to 1958

Serial # 32838 would make it a 1955

Read the link below. It should explain it better than I can.

Looks like a 1955 860 to me! The decals were probably a result of someone putting on new decals, and using the wrong ones.
