Where is the shut off for the pulley on the right side of the tractor? ours spins all the time. it does not shut off when you let out the clutch and i was wondering where the shut off is. Thanks

Joe is right.My 51 VAC has the set screw and nut
on top of the belt pulley housing.

WEll i checked mine out and i cant find the set screw... the only thing on the top of the housing is the dipstick.

If you've got a high-pressure hydraulic system (belt pulley pump) then the setscrew will lock out the PUMP but not the pulley. If you have the later live pump mounted on the timing case (right side of engine) then the setscrew will lock out the belt pulley.....Roger?

Some VAC have a set screw with lock nut on top the housing just inboard of the pulley. Loosen the screw sufficiently to clear the inner sleeve, pull straight out on pulley until the screw can be seated in the lockout groove. That will disengage the drive gear.
