Has anyone used Beeswax on a hot seized bolt or nut to free it. Supposed to be better than penetrating oil. Appreciate your thoughts.

I had trouble getting a steering shaft apart ( heated it red hot still couldn"t drive it apart) Ended up taking a universal apart and broke it. Later I found out that if you after heating the shaft and coupling if you let some beeswax flow in there it will come apart easily. Wish I"d known it sooner.

Yes, it does. Just heat the nut or stud and let the beeswax flow. James
