I AM FIXING UP AN ALLIS CHALMERS WD FOR MY STEP SON. SOMEONE PUT A STRANGE 3 POINT ASSEMBLY ON IT. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A PICTURE OR SOMETHING THAT SHOWS THE WAY IT WAS ORIGINALLY. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME FIND THIS INFO. I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. ALSO THE SERIAL # IS LOCATED ON THE LEFT SIDE BRAKE ASSEMBLY. I CANNOT FIND IT ON THIS TRACTOR?
THANK YOU FOR ANY AND ALL HELP.

Do an internet search for Allis Chalmers 3 point hitch conversions, you'll find pictures of the origingal snap coupler drawbar assembley as well as the conversion kits to adapt them to standard 3 point equipment.

Dale would need a better description on the three point to know. but wonder if you are looking at the original lift arms etc.

As to the serial number there is no plate, the number is stamped into the rear side of the casting couple of inches below the brake cover.

Could it be that this 'strange' 3 point system is the original AC 'snap coupler' system?

Why don't you try posting again over in the Allis place. If you have a 3-point on your WD, I'd all most bet that some one would be glad to trade you the original for your 3-point.
