Ok FS may not stand for 4 stroke but I still say that it is a 4 cycle engine Poke below to go to Stihl Site.

I took a chance and bot a 4MIX heavy duty line trimmer 2 years ago to use with their saw blade to cut heavy brush

good power, quiet, hardly uses any gas, I have beat the bejesus out of it and it keeps on going

no their not 4 cylce but yes their 4 stroke, you still use the 50 to 1 2 cycle oil/gas mix but they do have a intake & exhaust valve with no oil in crankcase, there for the oil/gas mix for lubrication. The 4 mix as their called give you better torq, power, fuel econamy for you buck. David
