Have a White 6065 with an estimated 1,300 hours -
last year discovered water in the oil - it seems that due to falty water/anti freeze at factory - the piston sleeves become pitted w/ holes - thus water in oil - if anyone knows of others with this problem , would appreciate knowing - dispute with AGRO/White to this date futile - purchased new and maintained religiously - also dealer now charging tremendous $$$$ to fix- also has tractor over 6 months???? - I think a new motor woulb cheaper - thank for any help!!

White 6065 corresponds to Lamborghini 674-70N(Same Explorer range), and if is non cab version then is called Cross. Tractor has 4 cylinder Lamborghini water cooled engine. This engine has wet sleeves, and one of cause can be bad sleeve rubber seals(O rings). Look here:

This is pretty common problem, not only on that type of engine.
Second possibility can be "burnt" head seal.I'm not sure is it a metal one or standard. Look here:

Hope this will help you.

Hi Tom. Yep, sorry to say, from what I hear, everyone of them go bad. Sounds like yours went early, I generally hear around the 2000 hr mark though. My uncle's went, heads had to come Italy I think..something like a Lamborgini engine in them?...your right...not a cheap fix. Hound

We have a nice 674 IH that had the same problem at less than 2000 Hours before we purchased it. I was at the John Deere Deere dealer one time and they had about a 5 year old Deere in there. The oil pan was off and when you turned the engine over and stoped it just right, coolant would run outbelow the piston and then on the ground. Sleeveless engines also have the same problem. The key is coolant system maintaince. I would find a different dealer.
