I am trying to do body work on my John Deere B but I am having a little problem getting the gas tank off. I removed all visible bolts but it still acts like it is attached somewhere. I don't want to force it out because then I'll end up breaking something. Is there a method to it like sliding it out or something?? Please help! Thanks much!

If it's a styled tractor you have to remove the steering wheel and steering shaft. Then the hood and gas tank come off in one piece, then take the tank out of the hood.

not sure where you are? Do you have the hood off? Tell us exactly what you have done so far.

I have the hood already pulled off but the gas tank still won't come out and I have taken off like the 6 visible bolts to remove it. Thanks.
