I have a small NH baler with a hand start twin cyclinder wisconsin on it. It has been in a barn without running for 6-7 years. The thing will not start! i drained all of the fuel out and put new in. sucks up fuel fine but won't fire. I installed new plugs has great spark! I put fuel right in the cylinders and it won't fire. I will get a small backfire out every now and then. Any ideas?

If there is little or no compression the valves are probally stuck. Squirt some penetrating oil in the plug holes, let it set a while, then try tapping the valve(s) down by putting a medium sized allen wrench in the plug hole and rotating it to contact the top of the valve. Tap the end of the wrench and if you're lucky you'll hear the valve snap down. Turn the engine over. It will likely stick again so repeat the process. Good luck.
