I need help. I bought a NH 68 Hayliner Baler at auction. What size tires go on this thing? The tires the seller put on it rub the body. I wasn't home when he delivered it from 150 miles away. He told me he was going to replace the tires before he brought it out. He did but, he trailered it out here so he didn't get the full rubbing action. I'll have a blowout before I get it to the back yard.
Thanks, Chris E

I did a search for a tire conversion and came up with radial matches for the tires. I bought these tires but never mounted them. They looked like a good match, like they wouldn't rube without actually mounting them.

If it has the 16" rims then pickup side would be 5:00X16" with plunger side 6:00-6:50X16", if 15" a 7:00X15 truck tire or 7:60x15 implement tire on plunger side with about a 6:70x 15 on pickup side, all car-truck except the old 7:00x15 or 6:50X16 will be too wide

The NH 68 used implement 500 X 15 on the pickup side and 600 X 16 on the bale chamber side.
I'M sure you could use 590 X 15 and/or 650 X 16 and have no trouble.
That was unless someone changed rims, in the 55 to 60 years since it was new.

Hope this helps.

After I made my post I remembered when they were built.
The were built from approx. 1955 to 1960. {this would include the Super 68}.

I was 10 years off, but it was still quite a while ago.

Thanks guys.
I knew somebody here would know. I know it's old, lol, but my house and barn are 125 years young this year. The don't build them like they used to.
