I was reading about a "lift all" for a Farmall H from this site:
Link

I says to use motor oil and not hydraulic oil if I am reading it correctly.
Can anybody varify this.
We have a Farmall H with a hydraulic pump and we put hydraulic fluid into it, AW32
Is this bad??
Should I drain and flush??
So far for 20 years it works good for us every winter when we hook up the snow blower to it.

The owners manual did call for using 10, 20, or 30 wt. non-detergent motor oil in the lift-all because that was pretty much all that was available at the time. The beauty of the these old lift-all sytems is that they will function just fine with just about any oil you put in them. Lots of folks use Hy-Tran, My Dads old H had John Deere hydraulic oil in it because the other tractors on the farm were JD. It's always good to keep all of your tractors hydraulic systems compatible with each other.

It won't hurt it. Lots of people use it. Me, for instance. The only drawback is that it may develop less pressure as the hydraulic oil is thinner. On the plus side, you don't have to worry about cross-contamination if tractors share equipment and non-detergent 30wt is getting hard to find.
