Farmall F-14 Road Gear

Hi everybody! I have a Farmall F-14 with a Factory Road gear in it and it is on Rubber all the way around and I was wondering if anybody knows if it still would be right or I mean Factory if I put rear steel on there any suggestions Thanks

I wouldn't. I'd hunt for a nice set of round spoke wheels and buy new tires for it. You might want to park it in the back shed and keep it for later. Transmissions with the high speed gears are rather rare. Of course if you just want to play around you can put the steel on it and don't use 3rd gear. You can always switch the wheels back to rubber later.

I think the factory didn't put the road speed in if the tractor was on steel for a reason. You wouldn't want to be going that fast on steel. As far as you doing it, why not if you want to. I just would avoid road speed.
