today when i started the saw it idles fine but when i give it throttle it bogs down. when it does throttle up, under any load (cutting) it bogs down. any suggestions.

Pretty new saw but just incase check the feul line in the tank and up to the carb to make sure it doesnt have a crack letting it suck air under more fuel demand.

John your problem is a common one for a 2 cyle engine ,go into the little muffler and take out the little mesh screen spark arrestor and clean it or as I do just leave them out and put cover back on the muffler!

i have the same saw the little plastic chain guides and chip shoot were rubbing after i put a new chain and bar on so i took them out work fine i have put about 80 hours on it since and everything is still good
