Boss just talked to his buddy that runs a fuel business and told him to get his motorhome filled up as the price is going to go up maybe .25 from this next hurricane allready.

Gas prices here dropped to 2.599 today...first time since August 30th. That day, I filled up at 2.599, and before I left the station it went up to 2.799 [wasn't any delivery of new, higher-higher priced fuel while I was there]...by 8 pm that day, same station was at 3.299, as were most of his competitors.

Actually they are right on.

As of 3:00 Eastern Gasoline futures are up 24.49 cents on 100% speculation of the current storm in the gulf. Generally this translates into higher prices at the pump in a day or two.

Crazy new world that we live in where speculation on a storm can change the price of gasoline 25 cents in a day. :-/

Ours went up and down 37 cents a liter in a week after the last one, and we don't get any of ours from the US. Can we say gouging? Went back up 8 cents a liter overnight today.
